Roadtrip: NOLa

Here's our last post from our roadtrip...Our last stops were in Destin, where we just became beach bums and didn't take any photos at all, except with the iphone, New Orleans and then Shreveport/Bossier City (another stop to just relax and not really shoot). Now, when we arrived in New Orleans, the very first thing we did was the VooDoo Cemetery Tour. Below you'll see Nicolas Cage's pyramid tomb. Yes. He really has one.

So many artists in the French Quarter....I loved the art, walking in the courtyards and hearing blues and jazz being played in the alley ways.

Tons of voodoo memorabilia here...

...I think this one looks similar to the They Live movie, circa 1988...

...This one was awesome, a remake of the V-J Day in Times Square.

We also had the chance to visit the beautiful Oak Alley Plantation. If you ever have a chance to visit this or one of the many other plantations in the area, it's a must! They even shot Interview with the Vampire here...A plus for cinephiles like us!
