DIY Letter Maps

I found an old NYC map at an antique store and knew I could make something out of it, I just didn't know what at the time.  Then when I started to purchase wooden letters from Craft Cuts, I knew the map would be perfect for our next DIY project.  I bought "C & V" but decided to only cover the C and the V...The & I'm using for something else in the future.  Here's what you'll need for this project:

-Wooden letters
-Scissors
-Mod Podge
-Pencil
-Brush/Applicator
-Frame Hangers (I got these at Michael's)

First trace your letters on the map with a pencil, then cut the tracing out.  Add mod podge to the top of the letters and the back of the map.  Place the map on top of the letters and cover again w/modge podge.  Once dry, connect the frame hangers to the back of the letters, and your design is ready to go.

This project probably cost about $50 and 1 hour of your time.
