Well, it's been about 2 weeks since I last blogged (which is a very long time), so today I'm back! And ready to get my blog on :)

First, just a reminder, it's that time of year again! October is just around the corner, so that means the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure is coming up. My mom and I have been attending this great event in Dallas (for a great cause) for the last 5 years or so. Thousands of people attend: men, women, children, Cancer patients and survivors. Mark your calendars:

Second, we've been working on our home office (For quite a while now. Yes. I'm a procrastinator. Guilty as charged. Carlos, not so much. Hes' better at saying he's going to do something, and just doing it, but since I'm kind of distracted by laziness on the weekends :P I always distract him and say, "Hey, let's go do THIS instead!"), but this weekend, my goal will be to finish the office, take photos, and then blog the heck out of them on Sunday evening. Yes. I will do this. I promise :D

Third, have you checked out our 60 in 60 project yet? Geez, taking a photo a day for 60 days is kind of hard =o. I hate to say it, but I'm always afraid I'll forget...And some days I've cut it pretty close to the midnight deadline, but I've done it! Even though I do get photographer's block and don't know what to shoot sometimes :) But today is day #22...So it's about a third of the way. Here's today's picture. And be sure to check out the rest HERE.

This picture takes me to the last thing, HALLOWEEN! We love Halloween. And today when I got home to find the above save-the-date in the mail from Brandy and Brandon of Bella Pop, it put a smile on my face :) They're so creative! Love the toe tag! It's genius...hehehe.

Now, my dilemma will be, what to be for Halloween? We've already hit about 2 Halloween stores, but I'm pretty-somewhat-kind of set on-not sure yet that I'm going as a dead prom queen. Now to find an ugly 1980's dress at a thrift store and a sash of course. Carlos is between being Machete (Yes. The Danny Trejo character) or Luke Skywalker with Yoda, which will probably be pretty funny. We'll see :)
