Mia

There is a creature in our midst...and her name is Mia.

We're not too sure how long she'll be with us, I was told between a week and a month.

We were asked to dog sit the other day by my aunt and cousins. They live an apartment that isn't dog friendly, so Mia was on the brink of being confiscated as evidence and being taken to the big house...Or dog house in her case :D So she came on over to our place...I mean, c'mon, how could we resist these puppy dog eyes (Awwwwww).

So, she's livin' it up here at Casa Del Pino where it's dog friendly, there's more dog food than human food in the house, there's a yard so she can roam freely and she will have good company with Weezer (her sister) and Sookie (her step-sister :P).

It's funny when you mingle with other dogs that aren't yours...You notice how different they are compared to your own with their personalities and habits.

For example, Mia threw up the first day here...I don't think she does it often, and it was probably because she was scared or nervous...It could also be because of the different type of dog food we have that maybe she isn't used to. We also noticed that she doesn't seem to sleep as much as Sookie and Weezer (my lazy girls) and she seems kind of, co-dependent, shall we say? When we're home, she's right at our feet or following us around everywhere we go. And when she's let out, she cries and scratches at the door to be let back in quickly :( It could be just that she misses her home and her family, but who knows, maybe they'll let us keep her!? :D Forever and ever...We'll see! :)

Anyway, just wanted to snap a few shots of Mia, our first sleep over guest in our new house. Overall, she's been a good dog, and hopefully she's having a good time.
