Photo Shoot: Magnets

If you've been over to our place and have seen our fridge, it's covered with magnets. I've always liked to, I guess, "collect" them among other little things here and there. I guess it started because growing up my parents also had their fridge covered with magnets, then it turned into pictures, then it became just specific pictures of kids. Not just my brother and myself, but all of my parents' godchildren (because they have like 50 of them!). Anyway, if I travel anywhere I like to buy magnets to kind of remember where I've been, but if I see any good ones out there, I'll purchase them randomly too. Here are a few of magnets from our fridge and today's fun shoot.

These colorful dots I got at Ikea.

It's funny how I can remember where I got most of the magnets we have, even if they are just random ones. These iPhone apps I purchased yesterday at Urban Outfitters.

Photobucket

These Polaroid magnets come in a pack of four and are also from Urban Outfitters.

Photobucket

These butterfly magnets are made of wood. I'm not sure if they were a gift, or if I bought them in Mexico.

Photobucket

Butterflies, another collection of mine :)

Photobucket

Family Guy, one of Carlos' favorite show.

Photobucket

This is from the Dr Pepper Museum down in Waco, TX.

Photobucket

This one is from the NASA Space Center down in Houston, TX.

Photobucket

This one not only serves as a magnet, but also a bottle opener ;) From Galveston Island.

Photobucket

Woody, from Toy Story, from "Pixar's 20 Years Exhibition" at MARCO in Monterrey, Mexico.

Photobucket

Also from Monterrey, a Grutas de Garcia magnet showing the mountains and caves.

Photobucket

From a visit to the DMA to see "Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of Pharaohs Exhibition".

Photobucket

I think I got these at Border's when we still lived in Dallas.

From the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Annex (which is now closed, but the "John Lennon: The New York Years" was awesome!).

Photobucket

From the HBO store in NYC on 42nd and 6th Ave (also a bottle opener, but flimsy).

Photobucket

From our honeymoon in Las Vegas, NV. Carlos with the wax version of Tupac (RIP).

Photobucket

The famous "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Nevada" sign.

Photobucket

From out trip to LA. Universal Studios (where we got Sideshow Bob) and Disneyland.

Photobucket

Replicas of Andy Warhol's pop art, and one of my favorite artists.

Photobucket

Sushi, because it's soooooo good.

Photobucket

And what fridge could be missing the alphabet letters (conveniently displayed to intertwine our names).

Hope everyone had a good weekend!
